The bidding quickly moved up to $25,000,000 but was not enough to remove the reserve amount the long time owner, comedian Jerry Seinfeld, had placed on it.
This 1967 Sunoco Camaro originally owned by Roger Penske was the second Z/28 ever built by Chevrolet in December 1966. Mark Donohue raced it in the Trans Am series in 1967 and has the distinction of being the first Camaro to score points in the series while winning two races that year in Las Vegas and Seattle. The bidding went up to $900,000 but was not enough for it to find a new home.
This 1959 Kurtis-Epperly Offenhauser Indy Car was driven legendary driver AJ Foyt to his first Indy Car championship in 1960.
